Product Description

Jeff Anderson’s Patterns of Power (POP) idea of mentor sentences are a wonderful way to incorporate conventions of writing.  These quick print and teach lessons invite your students to read along with you, notice changes, and write sentences based on authentic texts you may have in your classroom library.

These lessons are used with my small group students who are still working on letter formation and writing complete sentences using exclamation points to show strong emotions. Just print each page as lesson to reinforce ending punctuation with exclamation points.
