A super quick way to encourage creativity with the imperfect tense. Students write and draw two sentences that compare what they ones were with what they are today. Possibilities are endless - and it's always fun to see what students will come up with. Some examples include:
*Antes yo era una semilla pero hoy soy una flor (un árblo, una sandía, etc).
*Antes yo era un hombre de nieve, pero hoy soy un charco.
*Antes yo era un bebé, pero hoy soy un jovén.
Packet also includes a Teacher Suggested implementation/planning page as well as a tic-tac-toe page to get kids up and moving - and USING the language with each other. This page can easily be used to support specific verb set practices depending upon your own curriculum.
