Product Description
Bullying has become a huge concern in schools these days. I wrote this story when I wanted to teach a reading lesson to my fifth graders on mild bullying behaviors. I found stories to be either too babyish or involving a gun at school, so I wrote my own story. This story addresses gateway bullying behaviors, or mild acts that children do that hurt feelings. Throughout the story, questions are included for the teacher to ask about the behaviors taking place in the story. Students are to discuss why these activities are wrong. Optional writing is also available.

I decided to make this story FREE in hopes that this activity will help stop gateway to bullying behaviors before they turn into full fledged bullying. My only request is that you please leave feedback so that more children may be helped to become kind people.
