This activity is great for any teacher who wants to teach anti-bullying in their class, especially if using writing as the vehicle.
I created this station activity to use as a team day anti-bullying activity in my English classroom. This was used in a 6th grade classroom, and after a little preteaching it worked really well. It would be great for any secondary classroom.
You will receive:
1 Station Card
20 Anti-Bullying R.A.F.T. Prompt Cards
You will need to make five copies of the station cards and prompt cards (based on the number of groups in the directions). You can change the number of groups in the directions if you choose.
IMPORTANT: I had already taught my students terms like: bullied, bystander, bully, and anti-bully activist. I had also taught them what our policy was on bullying and what students could do if they were being bullied or witnessed bullying. They also knew what the consequences of bullying were to all parties.
This activity is NOT to be used to introduce new information to students. Every school has their own rules and procedures. This activity is most effective as a form of informal assessment.
