PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

I use this anticipation guide as a before and after reading activity when reading Jerry Pallotta's Who Would Win: Lion vs. Tiger book to my students. This book and others in the series are AMAZING for teaching LAFS.3.RI.3.8 and CCSS.ELA-Literacy.RI.3.8 which includes describing comparisons in a text, between paragraphs and between sentences. Because of this I've also included a double bubble thinking map for after reading as well. In the case of using the double bubble map I would do the anticipation guide as a before and during reading activity and the thinking map as an after reading activity.
