This anticipation guide bundle is aimed as a diagnostic tool to pre-assess student knowledge of active reading strategies. It includes a basic and more advanced version of the guide to allow for differentiation and modification as based upon course identification or student needs. It is important to express that student responses at this stage will not be evaluated for accuracy and it is not required to share them with peers. Teachers may utilize their initial responses to gather data and generate differentiated experiences to facilitate improvement of understandings with each/any of the objectives listed. At the conclusion of the unit of study, students may reflect upon their progress with unit objectives using class activities for support.
