This worksheet can be used for any unit relating to the Holocaust. It can be used prior to the start of a novel pertaining to the Holocaust or a general study of the Holocaust. I have found it to be a great conversation starter with the class for several reasons. It grabs their attention, and they learn that they don't know as much as they think they do. This can be used to scratch the surface, or as a tool for the instructor to go more in depth with certain topics depending on the overall goals of the unit. For example, number 5 provides the opportunity to have a discussion about how the "Final Solution" wasn't even fully planned out until 1941. The teacher could go into detail about this, or give a general explanation and save the details for further discussion later.
