This is an after reading activity designed to help the students review the events of the play in relation to the theme of fate versus free will. It will get the students to think about their ideas about the role of fate versus free will in the play. Any of these answers can be correct as long as the students support their responses with specific evidence from the text. This fully editable word document contains teacher directions as well as student directions. It has the students choose the role that they believe fate plays in the drama. They will engage in a think-pair-share activity with students who also agree with their reasoning. They will be required to find quotes from the text to support their analysis. They will then engage in a Seminar discussion with the whole group or at least one other person from each group. Then the students will reflect on their own participation and learning during the seminar.
