These close reads are used daily (bellringer or closing is ideal.) The benchmark common-core style questions prepare in a daily way for standardized testing. Each passage relates to Antigone and can be tied into the play. The passages ask students to first annotate (mark on the passage for comprehension. I recommend starring unfamiliar vocabulary, underlining important details, circling dates/names/places, and bracketing the main idea.) Each passage has 3-4 questions, some multiple choice and some deeper understanding/personal connection. I combine on the copy machine, so I have small half sheets for each student that fit nicely on one page of their composition notebooks. This way they have room under and around to make notes and write their answers if needed.
