In four short videos, The National Theatre in London, England interviews the team that recently (2012) brought Antigone to life as a contemporary political thriller. They explain their choices in the context of traditional Greek drama and the ideas that Sophocles first introduced around 441 BC.
Two questions per video ask students to reflect on the choices that the production team made, and how those choices reflect some of the main ideas of the play.

- Easy copy - one page front and back
- Includes an answer key
- Incorporates Common Core (and other state standards) of textual to visual media comparisons

I used this as an extra credit assignment after we finished reading the text in class. It helped students visualize the conflicts better than simply reading the page, and the "fancy British accents" impressed the students with their analysis. These videos tied together the ideas of the play constructively and engaged students who previously were not interested.
