Product Description

Even though Sophocles wrote his Greek Drama in 441 BCE, the play resonates with young people today. Antigone's choices of complying with unjust laws or standing up to authority and suffering the consequences are part of the ethical decision making process to mature and prosper in the modern world.

Students will complete a close read of the first scene. They will compile appropriate evidence to identify a claim and evidence to support it.
