This is a fully editable word document that walks the students through a literary analysis of Antigone's Ode 2. It provides the students with a writing prompt to set a purpose for reading. It asks the students to annotate and paraphrase the text to fully address the standards. It then asks the students to annotate for literary elements and walks them through an analysis of those literary elements, asking them to write a body paragraph as a final product. This can be used with the literary analysis of the other two Odes from Antigone. It can be done as a gradual release as the teacher and students complete the Parados together, the students complete Ode 1 and Ode 2 in small, collaborative groups, and then complete Ode 3 individually as an assessment.
