This is a bundle of 7 one-page notes charts for student use when reading Sophocles' Antigone.
These charts are based on the concept of the "Three C's Chart" - there are three sections of questions divided into reading comprehension, characterization, and making connections. These categories are super helpful for students to organize their ideas!
Each chart is focused on one section of Antigone and contains a set of questions for each "C." The comprehension questions are based on plot, while the characterization and connections questions are based on opinion and analysis.
There are 8-9 questions per chart (4-5 comprehension, 2-3 characterization, and 1-2 connections).
These charts can be used while students read or after they read, and they can be completed individually, in small groups, or as a whole class.
They are amazingly helpful as study guides after the reading has been completed! Additionally, I have found that pulling some questions from these charts for use in a formal assessment is a great strategy.
