The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss is a great book to use when teaching Antonyms. After reading the book aloud to the students, have them create a pair of antonym feet. Begin by passing out a paper to each student. They will write the word that means the opposite to the word that you gave them. Then, they will draw and color a picture underneath each word to help describe what the word means. Finally, have the students each share their antonym feet with the class!
