Antonyms! Learning about antonyms is great for both reading and writing. I like to use these task cards in my workstations. I have included a directions page that looks great in a plastic picture frame at my workstation. There is a recording sheet so that you can look over the work that your students do at their workstations. I use these with my document camera to do a quick informal evaluation. This lets me know if I need to include antonyms as a review or a teaching point in my guided reading groups. The task cards make a great quick review for any extra time that you might find you have during your day.
