If your students need more practice with identifying and naming antonym pairs, then this differentiated pack of 3 card games will work for you. The 16 pairs are: above/below, big/small, far/near, clean/dirty, day/night, cold/hot, happy/sad, back/front, pull/push, empty/full, in/out, old/young, closed/open, black/white, wet/dry, right way up/upside down.
Set 1 has color illustrations with the target words and definitions. Set 2 has target words and a short definition in black text only. Set 3 are colorful picture cards with the target words to be used in a variety of ways. I print them twice for a Memory game. They can also be displayed in a pocket chart in a center to match the antonyms.
The backgrounds of the three sets are different and low color for ease in sorting and printing.
