An Antonym is a word that has a meaning opposite to that of another word. Example: Old is an antonym of new or young.
The list in this book is by no means exhaustive, and many far more complex words can be included in the activities for older learners who have a higher level of vocabulary/comprehension.
You will find flash cards, vocabulary exercises and games that can be adapted to younger or older learners, and some blank cards to
"write your own". My children, then aged 12, 10 and 5 all did various of the exercises, games and the like and thoroughly enjoyed the worksheets, providing different ideas on each. This indicates to me that this book is easily adaptable to various age groups.
