This paper bag book is designed to work with students individually or in a group setting. This Interactive Paper Bag Book Activity is an educational and helpful resource for students. It takes a fun, hands-on approach to learning about anxiety and strategies to help with worry reduction. Three paper bags are used for each book.

Page 3: Recognizing Clues: Teaches students to recognize clues of how anxiety affects them personally.
Page 4: Calming Strategy Puzzle: Nine calming strategies are included in the puzzle as a way to reduce worries.
Page 5 & 6: I-Spy Hidden Word Activity: Calming strategy words are hidden in pictures.
Page 7: Keep You Down or Free You Activity: Learning the difference between negative and positive self-talk. Students cut statement strips and glue them under the correct heading.
Page 8: Secret Message: Positive thought in a secret message for students to decipher using the Secret Code Message Decoder.
Page 9: Life is Like a Maze: Going through life isn't always easy like a straight line. Sometimes there are obstacles like anxiety that try to block us from a happy life.
Page 10:Mission Accomplished: Students set and complete 3 goals in managing their own anxiety.
Inserts: Once the paper bag book is assembled, it creates 3 openings to be used as pockets. Additional activities are included for students to complete and store in the pockets.
