Most of our children at school deal with anxiety at some point during the year. Some kids have great coping skills and are able to easily adjust. However, there is a certain percentage that stay anxious which in turn affects their ability to attend and learn in school. Teaching students basic information about what is anxiety is a great way to start understanding and working on coping skills. This is a basic lesson, easily used for younger students. Great for students on the autism spectrum disorder. I used this with Kindergarten- 3rd graders.
