Teach students to understand their anxiety and have a plan to reduce it by using a thermometer. Print the sheet, laminate, then place a bead on a string so students can move the bead up and down to validate their feelings.
0-3 Normal amount of anxiety.
4-5 Understand anxiety body signs, take some deep breaths.
6-8 If deep breaths don’t help, try a strategy (get drink of water, read, draw, etc.).
9-10 Get help from an adult.
