Anxiety is an issue school counselors deal with on a daily basis. This six week, superhero themed, group counseling program offers several interactive activities for students to complete as a way to reduce worries.
Icebreaker Superhero Cube Activity.
Anxiety 5 Point Level Scale: Check-in system for students to mark current anxiety levels.
What Does Anxiety Do? posters.
Lift-The-Flap Interactive Activity. Students write how anxiety affects their body. Open the flap and students write/draw calming strategies to help reduce worries.
Calming Strategy Super Hero Cuffs for younger aged students. Students write/draw calming strategy in power cuff to help reduce worries.
Comic Strip for older students
12 (boy & girl version) Superhero Mindfulness Cards. Print cards and put in paper sack. Each group member pulls out card and completes brain break activity.
