Anyone Can Draw Actions is a drawing unit designed for primary students, but it can be also used for older students who do not yet know how to draw people. The unit shows students (and teachers!) how to draw simple standing (facing and side views) figures, as well as walking, sitting, jumping, handstand or cartwheel, diving and flying actions. There is a lesson idea included to help organise the students' drawings so they can refer to it during the course of the school year. Often in primary grades we ask the students to draw a picture to go along with their journal entries or stories. This unit will give students some basic skills so they can draw their ideas, and give them confidence for the writing task.
