Do your students have difficulty knowing when to use apostrophes in their writing? Make them a part of the Apostrophe Patrol! This craftivity was designed to be a follow-up activity to my Apostrophe Patrol PowerPoint. (One of my followers asked me to create it!)
Students begin by reading 18 sentences arranged in strips. They draw a star in the strips that contain sentences without any apostrophe errors. They draw a checkmark in the strips that DO contain apostrophe errors within the sentence. After cutting the strips apart, they rewrite checkmarked sentences correctly on the back of the strip, and then they assemble the craftivity!
