Description

Learn how to use the apostrophe correctly. These grammar worksheets both inform as well as test the students knowledge of the correct use of the apostrophe and when it should or should not be used in a sentence. These are excellent grammar practice worksheets. Each task card presents a range of sentences featuring one or more words that end in the letter 's'. In many cases, an apostrophe is required but not shown. You have to determine where the apostrophes needs to be placed and writing them down only in the correct place. Two task cards have several examples of the correct and incorrect usage of the apostrophe. Some sentences have color-coding to assist and others don't. Each task card has a clear explanation of when and how to correctly use the apostrophe for the types of sentences featured.

Suitable for printing in B/W as well as colour.

Ideal for distance learning - no prep required!

Each worksheet is presented as an individual JPG but there is also a single PDF that contains all the worksheets together, so you have the best of both worlds to choose from.
