This Teach, Practise, Extend PowerPoint resource focuses on apostrophes and how they are used. In total there are four slides:
Slide 1 - Definition of when an apostrophe is used for possession with examples. Tips are also provided on what to do when the word ends in an s.
Slide 2 - Definition of when an apostrophe is used for contraction with examples.
Slide 3 - Ten sentences where the children need to add an apostrophe in the correct place. (5 sentences for possession and 5 contractions)
Slide 4 - Ten sentences where the children need to add in apostrophes in the correct place. These are a mixture of possessive and contractions and are more tricky.
The resource is colourfully designed and can clearly be seen from a distance making it ideal to display on the Interactive Whiteboard.
