This seven page pack has 9 apple graphics on each page. There is a picture of a CVC word on each apple. There are 3 boxes (one box for each letter of the word) under each picture for students to write each word in after sounding out and stretching each word.

There is one page for each vowel (a, e, i, o, and u) and two pages with a combination of these five vowels. There are seven pages in all.

The PREVIEW shows all pages included in the resource.

There is a "Name that Picture" page that tells the word for each picture in case there is a question about the picture name. Keep the page handy when using all seven pages.

Here are the words that are included on each page:

Page 1: van, sad, jam, dad, bat, fan, ham, pan, bag

Page 2: ten, bed, jet, net, beg, web, hen, fed, wet

Page 3: bib, bit, dig, dip, fin, lid, rib, six, rip

Page 4: box, cot, dog, hop, mom, fox, dot, log, pop

Page 5: bug, bun, bus, cup, cut, gum, tub, bud, jug

Page 6: hut, lip, hat, mop, vet, nut, hot, den, man

Page 7: can, led, top, hug, kit, red, fog, wag, wig

If students finish early, have them flip to the back of their paper and write a sentence with each word on the front. Students can also color the pictures after completing the page.

This makes a great morning work activity, homework, literacy center, or review for CVC words. Students love using their mini slinkies to stretch out the words.
