I use this while we are exploring an object, food and/or field trip (I have even taken this outside when talking about weather).
For example: During the Fall/ Autumn season I have two apples for each student: one green, one red. We then compared and contrasted the two apples before eating and then after eating. I use this as a writing incentive, for brainstorming and a way to organize and to encourage writing while using the five senses. Thank you!
