Your students will love creating this apple mini-cookbook—a simple craft kit that requires only scissors and glue. (You will also need crayons or markers or colored pencils if you opt to use the black-and-white templates included in this kit.)
Kit includes instructions with:
* front and back covers
* a recipe page template
* a title page
* an apple fun facts page
* 10 apple recipes (several are kid-friendly. Two could be made in your classroom.)
* 2 blank recipe pages, in case you or your students want to add a favorite recipe.
All pages are available with both full color and black-and-white templates. Recipes include peanut butter apple dip, apple pie crescents, fried apples, apple pork chops, homemade applesauce, easy apple “pizzas”, celery apple salad, apple crunch dessert, chocolate apple bites, and apple raisin boats—yum!
Just copy, cut, paste, and assemble using binder rings or pieces of ribbon or yarn. A fun addition to your apple unit, this kit also makes a great Mother’s Day gift! Choose one or two recipes to make with your students as a classroom activity, for practice with measurement and fractions—and much more!
Thanks for taking a look at my product. Be sure to check my store for other fun activities for fall and all year. Enhance your apple unit with my Apple Alphabet bulletin board kit. Also look for my Johnny Appleseed activity. For fall, young students especially love the silly Pumpkin Head activity, available in my TpT store under my name—Diane McLoud.
Have a great school year!
