Fall Apple Counting Emergent Readers with One to One Correspondence are perfect for guided reading with preschool, kindergarten, special education, ELL/ESL programs, and first grade!
This MINI apple emergent reader covers that crucial concept in beginning math: one-to-one correspondence! So, basically, this emergent reader hits two critical subjects with one stone: reading and math!
In our mini apple Emergent Reader, you will get a repetitive apple counting story that follows the pattern "I see (number) (apple/s)" with a corresponding picture. We cover numbers 0-10.
Best of all, this ER has three pages total for the whole book! It's easy for kids as young as five to cut their own pages and assemble their books. I'm using this method with my kindergartener who is homeschooling this fall! Less prep, and kids take more ownership of their books.
We've also included cover pages for the students to write their names. There are two types of books in this pack: color and b/w. Color is great for guided reading groups, and the b/w could be easily copied for the entire class to take home. You get the best of both worlds with this reader!
We hope this emergent reader has your student excited about learning their numbers words and increase their fall vocabulary.
