Type in your alphabet letters, sight words, vocabulary, numerals, or math facts into the editable text boxes, laid on top of cute apple images. Then print and attach to your wall or bulletin board.
If you don't have the computer capabilities to use an editable file, don't fret! I have included plain apples and cards for you to print, then write your own curriculum on the apples for your students.
The caller (usually the teacher) reads a card with information (vocabulary, math, sight words, etc...). Have a student find the corresponding or matching information on an apple. Make sure students have a swatter, spoon, wand, or ruler to swat/smack the correct apple before it's the next player's turn.
Example: The teacher pulls out a card from a container and reads it aloud. The card says "table". One student takes a spoon or swatter and finds corresponding apple that says "mesa", since 'mesa' is the Spanish word for 'table'. Or, the teacher reads a card that says 3x6. The students finds and swats an apple that says "18".
Perfect for reinforcing any curriculum you teach at the beginning of the school year, in the fall/autumn, or when teaching about the life cycle of the apple plant. The apples also tie into teaching about the Jewish new year - Rosh Hashana.
