Description
Create a fun fall bulletin board display for Johnny Appleseed Day. Then, turn it into a classroom library book for your students to read again and again! This file includes your choice of 7 book covers and 8 differentiated apple writing templates.
After an apple test taste, have your students write about which apple they liked best - red, yellow, or green. This is great name writing practice as well as the perfect practice for using environmental print (color words) in the room. The can paint, color, or tear colored paper to fill the apple bottoms and tops. Laminate and display. You can download my apple bulletin board header FREEBIE to go with your display as shown in the preview pic!
When you take the display down, add the cover, assemble your book, and bind. You may also place pages in sheet protectors in a binder. Place your book in your classroom library for your kids to enjoy. My kids LOVE their student created books because THEY are the authors!
