These apple themed play dough mats are a great way for students to work on their counting and fine motor skills as well as giving them the opportunity to learn in a more sensory and hands on approach. Students will love rolling and moulding play dough to form apples to put onto the correct apple tree.
Each play dough mat contains an instruction at the top, stating how many apples should be on the tree. Students then make this amount of apples and put them onto the tree.
This is a low prep activity, simply print out the play dough mats you intend to use and laminate them so they will be stronger, longer lasting and re-usable. This is a great activity to add to your Fall / Autumn topic.
