Brought to you by Kodaly Music with Mrs Perry, this little gem is fabulous for preparing and presenting "do" to your children. Listed below is what you get here:
*RHYTHM: Practice and review rhythms of ta and titi many ways. One page has the actual notation to be read. One page has interactive leaves to pop up, showing where the rhythms fit into the beats. Another page requires students to drag the syllables to the correct rhythms, demonstrating rhythmic understanding. Yet another has students drag large apples and small apples representing long and short sounds to baskets that are the beats.
*MELODY: Read the melody on one page, find the new low sound on another and tap it. It will respond with a lovely 'ding' and grow. Drag the colored apples from the tree and place in baskets that are on shelves (staff).
*ACCOMPANIMENT: There is notated accompaniment for both pitched and non-pitched percussion. In addition, there is embedded accompaniment on piano and guitar. The apple slices are the fast version, two times through. The green apple is the slow version, two times through. It is in the key of F major.
