This is the perfect activity for fall! Students are learning or reviewing their long and short vowel sounds and can practice using this fun apple sorting activity! The student will cut out the apples, read the word, and decide if the vowel sound is long or short. Then, they will glue the apple on the correct tree.
If you would prefer, this would work great as a literacy center. Just laminate the apple trees and apples. Then place velcro dots on the apples and the circles and have the students place the apples on the correct tree.
A special thanks to www.hellojenjones.com for the cute apple clipart!
