Apples and Worms - Math is a colorful and fun math equation activity. The apples contain mathematical symbols, and the worm segments contain numbers. After cutting out the pieces, worms can be arranged into equations (with blank segments where mathematical symbols should go). Students must figure out which apple, or apples the worm can eat to correctly complete the equation (see sample images for an example).
There are a number of similar math games that can be played with these pieces. Addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, greater than, less than, equal to, and not equal to, can be used in combination with the provided numbers from 0-100. Memory matching games could also be played with the segments.
