Apples to Apples ~ Following Directions!
This 40-page packet is great for back to school, fall, and apple orchard themes. Pair it with great books, such as: 10 Apples Up on Top, 10 Red Apples, Johnny Appleseed, or any other Apple book. The packet targets the following skills:
*1-step, 2-step, and 3-step action directions
Pg. 3 Basket: Fold the paper in half, glue or staple along the edges to create an envelope. Students can place their apple cards in their ‘basket’.
Pg. 4-8 1-step directions—Cards
Pg. 9-13 2-step directions—Cards
Pg. 14-18 3-step directions—Cards
Pg. 19-23 Before/After Directions—Cards
Pg. 24-29 If...Then… Directions—Cards
***The above pages are cards. Cut the cards apart, laminate if desired. Place cards in a bag, bucket, hat, etc. Students take turns picking a card and following directions. Create Your Own templates are included so that you may add your own directions for individualization! Bonus Game cards included to make game play more fun! If desired, you can print a basket (turns into an envelope) for each student...they can keep their apple cards in their basket and count the apples at the end to see who has the most.

Students can use pennies, game pawns, or tiny toys to move from circle to circle. Can be done individually, with a partner, or with the entire class. Also great for homework!
