This is a simple little game that I have played with the kids whole group! Once they play it with the teacher a time or two, they do a great job of playing with with a partner without guidance! It is a great way to boost cooperative skills while practicing counting and identifying numbers. There is a page in the product that lays out the rules. Kids simply take turns rolling a dice and placing that many erasers on their mat. If you do not have erasers, you can always use pom poms or whatever you choose! If they land on the sticker side that says, "Applesauce" then they have to remove all pieces on their board and start over. The first one to 20 wins!! I have included color and backline for copies. Each student will need their own mat! There is an Applesauce race to 10 in here as well for students who aren't quite ready for the "teen" numbers. Students can even do this as an individual practice if they finish work early!!
