These three activities are great for students to choose from for independent projects at the end of a geometry unit. Students have a choice of three projects including:
Students design a blueprint for the exterior of their dream house. They then describe and classify the types of shapes and angles used.
Students visit different architecture around the world and describe the varying geometric terms they see using a travel journal and passport.
Beyond Square Dancing
Students create dance moves that show different geometric terms such as obtuse angle and square.
The goal of these activities is to differentiate student learning and encourage creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving. All materials needed are with the download.
