I give this chart to every psychology student in regular, honors, and AP classes at the beginning of the semester. It would also work for college-level students.
I recommend students put this chart at the front of their notebooks at a reference or study guide for the different approaches to psychology.
The chart includes 5 columns. The first column has the approaches to psychology (Structuralism, Functionalism, Psychoanalysis, Behaviorism, Gestalt, Biological, Humanistic, and Cognitive). The second column has the dates when the when approaches were "popular." The third column gives a short overview about the theory. The forth column lists major researchers and the fifth column lists each researcher's famous experiment.
