In this module, I present to you a series of exercises which help you guide your students to learn about approximating trigonometric functions with polynomials. The exercises presented here primarily focus on the polynomial approximations of a sine function which are widely used in solving various physics and engineering problems. Please note that the exercises in this module and the topic itself may seem rather tough for some students; I strongly suggest that you use this module in advanced level STEM classes and/or you share this with more avid students.
