This worksheet provides the student with a set of data indicating the number of people that have entered a concert hall after a given time. The student is asked to approximate the rate that people are entering after 30 minutes in two different ways:
1. By taking the average of the slopes of two secant lines.
2. By graphing the data and approximating a tangent line.

This worksheet is appropriate for both AP Calculus AB and BC.
