Once students with apraxia of speech become more verbal, they tend to have a lot of difficulty with vowels and voicing/devoicing of cognates. This packet is designed to target the voiced /b/ and voiceless /p/. This has saved me so much time and energy with students with difficulty in this specific area. Articulation worksheets just don't seem to target this specific skill deficit the same way.
This bundle contains:
-Visual cue cards for productions of /p/ and /b/
-Flash cards for both /p/ and /b/ minimal pair words in initial and final positions. Each flash card contains visuals for starting placement of /p/ and /b/ phonemes and visual cues for voiced/voiceless productions on each card!
-Worksheets to identify auditory abilities to distinguish between /p/ and /b/ sounds.
-Worksheets at the word and sentence level for initial, medial and final positions for /p/ and /b/.
-Black and white worksheets to print for homework
-Game boards for initial and final positions
-I also included tips I use when working on voicing/devoicing these cognates!
