Description
Apraxia and articulation digital flashcards for 2, 3, & 4 syllable - CVCV (C1V1C2V2, C1V1C1V2), CVCVCV, and 4 syllable words with backward chaining models. Perfect for distance learning and in person. These apraxia flashcards were designed to support your therapy plans for children with motor speech deficits such as those with Childhood Apraxia of Speech.
This is currently a digital PDF version. It can be used on iPad's, computers, Chromebooks, and interactive whiteboards without needing an internet connection. Shown is this activity on an iPad pro, but I typically use it on my school iPad air. I love to put it on my work computer which is attached to a projector. I can then create an interactive whiteboard with a pointer (we pretend it is magic). A fun way to keep students engaged with these digital flashcards.
We have included a prompt hierarchy to support instruction and acquisition.

These cards were designed with word/syllable support as well as a backward chaining model. The spelling for the backward chaining cards was designed to support correct production, giving models for syllables “as they sound” (phonetic/phonemic spelling). A page with vowel spelling examples has been included.
