This packet is developed to practice CV syllables. It includes two different activities to treat children with Apraxia or similar sound disorders working at the consonant-vowel level.
-Pages 3-7. Touch the initial sound on the turkey and then a vowel to say a variety of CV sounds (ie: me, mow, moo, etc.) Next work the other way to target VC sounds.
-Page 8. Cut out and mount the turkey on poster board or a file folder.
-Page 9-20. Cut out the turkey feathers for the sounds: /m,b,t/. Have students add the feathers to the turkey while they practice. Included feathers focus on repeated syllables (i.e. me, me, me) or changed syllables (i.e. me, moo, me, moo). The cards that include just the letter are meant to be practice for the consonant sound in isolation.
