Apraxia, CVC words, short vowels, beginning readers, speech therapy, motor production, flip books, center activities, visual cues, picture cards, phonics, phonemic awareness
Download again if you own this unit! I included covers for each flip book! This huge unit of short vowel CVC flip books was created for struggling readers and severe speech therapy students. It is comprised of flip books to help them realize the motor movement associated with each sound in the CVC word. These are great for final consonant deletion. Large, full size cards to review the placement of the sound, manner in which it is produced, and voicing (or voiceless sound) of each are also provided. See the thumbnail for the word families in this unit!

"This looks AWESOME! I'm going to start putting some together tomorrow. Many of my kindergarten students are having a hard time with this in their classrooms. If this works as well as I think it will, I'll be directing my Kindergarten team to this activity."
The flip books are created for practice whether in your speech room or center area for your students to review the sound that goes with each letter. Very visual, these were created to be printed in color, laminated, and put on rings for flipping through the word family. I have left blank cards so that you can create your own if needed!
