This sequencing (order of events) activity accompanies the book, April Foolishness by Teresa Bateman. This is a cute story to read on April Fools’ Day or during the week of April Fools’ Day, and this activity is a fun way to practice sequencing.
Ways to Use in your Classroom:
1) Centers - It can be printed once, laminated, cut out and used as a center activity. Answer key provided for students to self-check.
2) Groups – Print one copy per group and allow groups to work together to sequence the events in the story. Groups will cut out the event squares and glue them on the barn sheet in the order that they happened in the story.
3) Individuals – Print one copy per student and allow students to sequence the events in the story on their own. Students will cut out the event squares and glue them on the barn sheet in the order that they happened in the story.
We hope you enjoy it! :)
