Don't hate April Fools' Day, embrace it! All of these activities are low prep or no prep! You will find some educational worksheets as well as fun Word Searches, Brain Breaks, and even a craft thrown in! It's the perfect resource for all teachers to play some harmless pranks on their students. We all need something fun to look forward to!
Fun Contents Include:
- Teacher Directions
- Educational Pages (Origin of April Fools' Day, KWL, and Fact Chart)
- Quizzes (ELA, Math, and Brain Breaks - All have directions stating that students should read all the questions before answering the questions.)
- Word Search (With NO Answers)
- Craftivity (Students can make Brown-E's to take home.)
- Writing Pages
Some Suggestions:
- Teach your students the origin of this holiday. There is a quick reading comprehension sheet as well as a KWL and Fact chart to help with this.
- Have students take the quiz for your subject. This isn't a real quiz but will entertain you while students are completing it!
- Watch how long your students will work on the world's most difficult word search. This might be because none of the words are in there!
- Bring students Brown-E's to ease their pain. There is a basic craftivity to go with this one!
- Go back to an educational purpose at the end of the day and have students reflect on their experiences with some writing pages.
