Don't be fooled by those tricky homophones! This activity allows your students to practice identifying the correct homophone to use in a sentence, AND it allows them to produce their own sentences!
Students begin by completing a worksheet containing 15 sentences. For each sentence, they must choose the correct spelling of the homophone used in that sentence.
When they have completed the worksheet, students assemble the craftivity. They choose two homophones, and they write their own sentences on the jester's scrolls.
Student-friendly directions are included so that you can place the directions under your document camera, and students can refer to them as they complete the project. (An answer key is also included.)
