The only way to become a better writer is to write more. Often our students say that they “hate” writing or have a difficult time putting words down on paper. Using daily journals are a great way to help students become more fluid writers. These prompts incorporate interesting facts and tidbits of information for the month of April that will keep your students engaged and excited to write!
Used in a High School ESL setting, but can be used in Grades 2-12 depending on student reading and writing level. Would be great for Special Education students as well!
I have included multiple formats for you to use, teaching ideas and common core standards.
