Looking for daily practice of the Common Core Standards? Or a quick assessment check? Then this daily math practice is for you and your students!
There are 20 daily sheets that focus on many different CCSS and other skills.
There are many different ways you can use these sheets with your class. You can use them for morning work, for homework, for extra practice, or for early finishers. You could even place in dry erase pockets to have students practice the skills at a center. These daily sheets practice and review many of the 1st grade Common Core math standards.
Every week students will solve a word problem and show their work. The other skills vary from week to week. Students practice the same skills all week long, and each week the skills change. This helps establish a routine and will help students complete work independently. Some students may need help reading the directions for the activities at first. Some of the skills will need to be introduced before giving your students this work.
I use these sheets as morning work. I copy them double sided with my ELA daily practice. I hole punch the papers and the students keep them in their binder. We take about 10 minutes each morning to go over the work. I collect Friday’s paper for a grade. At the end of the month, we take the papers out and send them home.
I hope you and your students find these papers useful and helpful.
